David Lynn Nokes, 59 died Sunday, October 12th at Dekalb Community Hospital. He was a resident of Dowelltown.

Survivors include; wife, Ruth Driver Nokes, sons, Donald Nokes of Lebanon and Joe Nokes of Smithville, daughter, Crystal Lynn Nokes of Indiana, brother, Ernie Kokes of Smithville and 8 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for David Lynn Nokes will be 11:00am Tuesday, October 14th in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Sister Frances Foster will conduct the service. Burial will be in Mt. Arat Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 11:00am until 9:00pm and Tuesday 9:00am until time of the service.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
