Adams Memorial Library Observes National Library Card Month

Wednesday, 13 September 2017

September is National Library Card Month and the Cannon County Library System encourages anyone without a library card to stop in and sign up for one. Signing up for a library card is simple and first time members can get their card absolutely free. All you need to sign up for a library card is your photo ID, a proof of mailing address, and to fill out the library card application forms. Have you just moved to the area and may not have a proof address yet? No problem! In some circumstances we can issue cards while a person is getting settled. For juveniles, the parent/guardian of a child must fill out the paper work for them and present their proof of photo ID and mailing address. Did you have a library card in the past, but maybe lost it or think your account has expired? For just $2.00 we can replace any lost card with one of our brand new, redesigned cards, and we can easily update your information in just a matter of minutes. Stop by a Cannon County library today to see what fun awaits with a library card!
