Tuesday is Veterans Day, special activities to salute veterans will begin Friday in Cannon County.

A special flag ceremony will begin the day at Cannon County High School. Guests from across the area and veterans from across the county will be in attendance. The annual program will fill the morning. In the afternoon, students will have the opportunity to have veterans visit their class.

On the lawn at the courthouse a special ceremony will be held Friday and Saturday beginning at 11:00am.

This year’s Veterans Day parade will be held Saturday beginning at 1:00pm.
