Cannon County’s United Way Drive Begins With Favorite Sons

Tuesday 19 August 2008Featured speaker for the evening will be Michael Burt. The former Championship Coach and leadership expert Micheal Burt will be teaming up with Channel 4’s Emmy Award Winning Journalist Aaron Solomon for a night of inspiration while advocating the cause of the United Way. The Small Towns and Big Dreams Tour will take place on Saturday August 30th at the Arts Center of Cannon County. The live production with two of Cannon County’s favorite sons will be kicked off by a VIP reception starting at 5:00 pm followed by dinner featuring music of Far Cry- regulars at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. To top the night off Micheal will speak on how to live with purpose passion and intention. This is a night that could change your life. Tickets for the production range from $15.00-$35.00 and tables will be sold for $350.00 per table. Proceeds from the Small Towns and Big Dreams Tour will benefit the United Way of Cannon County. The United Way supports health and human service programming throughout Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
