Library To Hold Public Meeting

Sunday 29 July 2007What would you like your public library to offer? You are invited to a public meeting on Tuesday July 31 to share ideas and help develop a long-range plan for the library system. The meeting will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the basement meeting room of the Adams Memorial Library at 212 College Street. Betty Jo Jarvis Director of the Highland Rim Regional Library System (of which Cannon County is a part) will be the facilitator guiding a process used by many libraries to set goals for the next five years. If you cannot attend this meeting you may still share your ideas by posting them on the display board in each of the two libraries. The display includes basic information about the libraries and asks citizens to share ideas in four categories. These are: What do you like about the library? What don’t you like? What other services would you like to see offered? What needs does the community have that the library might help fill? Please add your thoughts and help make the Cannon County Public Library System one of the best around.
