Aldermen To Fill Vacant Position Tonight

The Woodbury Aldermen will be asked to elect a person to fill the vacant position of the late Dottie Duggin.  Ms. Duggin served many years on the Board of Aldermen and was elected Vice Mayor after current Woodbury Mayor Andy Duggin took office.  Ms Duggin passed away recently after a battle with cancer.  At the last regular monthly meeting, the Aldermen voted Faye Northcutt Knox to take over as Vice Mayor.  The item is on the agenda for tonight’s regular monthly meeting of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen Other items on the agenda will be James Armistead with Tennessee Department of Tresury to discuss the town’s option for employees to participate in a voluntary 401k and/or 457 Deferred Compensation Plan.
