The search for a Cannon County youth came to an end yesterday afternoon. The body of Brian Kite, 18, was found Monday afternoon along Stones River off Highway 53 North. Kite had been missing since October 8th.Local law enforcement indicated the incident is being treated as a homicide, and that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation will assist in the investigation. An autopsy is planned, which may bring some answers for investigators.
WSMV has reporting Kite’s girlfriend’s father found the body at about 3:00pm and called law enforcement.
Kite was last seen at the McDonald’s restaurant on East Main Street in Woodbury. The last communication Kite had with his mother was a text message that he was going to the homecoming football game.
