Cannon Circuit Court Activity for Friday, December 10th

Judge Don Ash presided over Cannon County Circuit Court on Friday. Some of the results from the various cases which appeared on the docket included:Joseph Tyler Green pled guilty to criminal attempt to initiate the process of manufacturing methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 6 years in prison as a Range 1, 30 percent offender. That sentence was partially suspended upon an equal amount of time on supervised probation, serving 4 months in jail, paying a $3,000.00 fine and paying the court costs. In another case, Green pled guilty to the charge of evading arrest. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation and paying the court costs. Green also pled guilty to the charge of felony reckless endangerment. He was sentenced to 1 year in prison as a Range 1, 30 percent offender. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation and paying the court costs.
Elizabeth Barrett pled guilty to criminal attempt to initiate the process to manufacture methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 4 years in prison as a Range 1, 30 percent offender. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 38 days in jail, paying a $3,000.00 fine and paying the court costs. In another case, Barrett pled guilty to the charge of theft over $1,000.00. She was sentenced to 2 years in prison as a Range 1, 30 percent offender. That sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on supervised probation, paying the court costs and paying restitution.
Angela Trisler was reset for January 14, 2011 for a violation of probation hearing.
John McPeak was reset for a suspended sentence hearing on January 14, 2011.
Francisco Bustamante pled guilty under judicial diversion to criminal attempt to initiate the process to manufacture methamphetamine and evading arrest. He was placed on supervised probation for 6 years, ordered to pay a $3,000.00 fine and ordered to pay the court costs.
Joshua Dishman was reset for a violation of probation hearing on February 10, 2011.
Johnny Lyons, Jr. was reset for plea day on February 10, 2011.
Ashley D. Davidson was reset for plea day on February 10, 2011.
Robert Mitchell Orr, III pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was extended and he was ordered to serve 6 months in jail.
Jeff Thomas was reset for plea day on February 10, 2011.
Phillip Shook pled guilty under judicial diversion to aggravated burglary, theft under $500.00 and passing a worthless check. He was placed on probation for 4 years, ordered to pay the court costs and ordered to pay restitution.
Wendy Thomas was reset for February 10, 2011 for a violation of probation hearing.
Timothy Ryan Lawson was reset for January 14, 2011 for a violation of probation hearing.
Ila Kay Smith was reset for plea day on February 10, 2011.
Tammy Thompson was reset for a suspended sentence hearing on January 14, 2011.
Lisa Pyles was reset for a motion hearing on January 14, 2011.
Patti Chappell pled guilty to the charge of violation of probation. Her probation was extended but her court costs were waived.
Samuel Fabozzi’s petition for unsupervised probation was granted by Judge Ash.
