Judge Don Ash presided over Cannon County Circuit Court on Friday. Some of the results from the various cases which appeared on the docket included:Jared Ian Smith was reset for December 12, 2010. He is charged with violation of probation.
Roy Howell pled guilty to the charge of failure to register as a sex offender. He was sentenced to 1 year in prison as a Range 1, 30 percent offender. His sentence was suspended upon an equal amount of time on probation and paying the court costs.
Brandi Deese petition for suspended sentence was granted. She was place on supervised probation for 3 years. She was ordered to pay her fines and court costs at a rate of $100.00 per month. Additionally, she was ordered to have no contact with convicted felons and attend narcotics anonomous meetings weekly.
Christopher Ferrell pled guilty to the charge of violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve his entire sentence.
Robert Mitchell Orr, III was reset for December 10, 2010. He is charged with violation of probation.
Timmy Young was reset for January 7, 2011. He is charged with violation of probation.
Vanessa McCormick’s petition for furlough was denied by Judge Ash.
