Back to important district basketball games for the Cannon County Lionettes and Lions basketball teams as Livingston Academy comes rolling into Robert A Harris Gymnasium tonight.  The Lady Wildcats are 16 and 2 coming into tonight’s contest and are 3 and 0 in district play.  The Lady Cats have won their last 6 in a row including a 1 point squeaker over Jackson County Tuesday.  The Lionettes have won 16 contests as well to go with 3 losses on the year. Two of those losses are to district opponents.  The Livingston Academy Wildcat Boys basketball teamis 12 and 6 and have won their last two games in a row.  The team is 3 and 0 in district play.  The Lions are 6 and 13 and struggling as they have won only 1 game in their last 5 outings.  The contests will serve as another fund raiser for Woodland Elementary student Branden Schwartz who is in recovery after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.  Fans will have the opportunity to buy a roll of toilet paper with the proceeds going toward paying medical expenses.  After the set of games tonight fans will be allowed to throw the toilet paper onto the gym floor to create a whiteout.  Pregame coverage will begin at 5:45 with tipoff scheduled at 6:00.  The games will be broadcast tonight on AM 1540/FM96.7 WBRY as well as streamed on the website at wbry.com
