Confrontational Driver Cited For License Revocation

A Morrison man who was close to being arrested for disorderly conduct due to his engaging attitude recently after a traffic stop will have his day in court in February to get his license issues straightened out .  According to Cannon County Sheriff’s Department reports, Deputies pulled over Mr. Robert Peck of Morrison, after he failed to yield to oncoming traffic from the Woodbury Farmer’s Coop parking lot.  Peck’s license was found to be revoked but it was eligible for reinstatement.  When the deputy explained about Peck’s status, Peck became acting more belligerent.  After the deputy told Peck that he was close to be arrested for disorderly conduct, Peck signed the release citation and voluntarily called a tow truck to have his car towed.    Peck was cited for driving on revoked/suspended license and failure to yield.  He will answer to the charges in Cannon County General Sessions Court on February 7th.
