Earlier this week, Short Mountain School announced that they would re-schedule their basketball game for Thursday night. At the school board meeting Thursday, Director of Schools, Barbara Parker reported that so far during the month of November, 20 cases of H1N1 Flu had been confirmed in the county schools. Of that 20, 12 cases were at Short Mountain School.
The Cannon County Health Department will hold a H1N1 Clinic this Wednesday, November 18th. The guidelines for this clinic include; pregnant women, caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age and individuals 6 months-24 years of age. Also included; healthcare workers and emergency medical persons and persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions.
The clinic will be Wednesday night, November 18th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Cannon Community Center at 630 Lehman Street.
