The Macon County Tigerettes could be the most improved team in District 8-AA. The Lafayette team started out the season winning 5 games in a row including collecting a district win over Livingston Academy. They won only ten games all year long last year but this year are 13-4 midway through. The Cannon County Lionettes are 7-10 at this point but a win tonight would be a key road win for the Lionettes as they fight to stay in the thick of the district standings. The Macon County Boys team are also 13-4 on the year. The Lions are hoping that the Tigers are looking over the top of them ahead to their Friday showdown with Upperman as both Macon and Upperman are 4-0 in District 8AA standings.
