Murfreesboro Police who were conducting an investigation into an aggravated burglary ended up adding an arrest of a Manchester woman after she allegedly dropped a crack pipe on the ground when they were talking to her. According to Murfreesboro Police reports 57 year old Jennifer Layne Dunn came out of an apartment next to the one that the police were investigating. As they were talking to her, Dunn turned her back to the officers and they noticed she threw something off the balcony. A search of the area under the balcony and turned up a glass crack pipe with residue found. Dunn was arrested for drug parpahernalia and tampering with evidence. Another crack pipe was also found on the way to the police car. Dunn will answer to the charges in Rutherford County General Sessions Court in February
