Survivors include; his wife of 56 years Anna Jo Francis Gooch son Kenny Gooch of Woodbury; Daughter Karla Penny Judkins of Woodbury; 3 grandchildren also survive. sister Christine Pike of Murfreesboro and his half-brother Mark Nickens of Murfreesboro 3 grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Karl Kenneth Gooch will be 2:00pm Wednesday in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.     Monday 7 April 2008Bonnie Mae Barrett Roberts 66 of Woodbury died Saturday April 5th following a short illness. Survivors include; mother Ann Lee Stacy of Alabama daughters Janine Kirchoff and JoAnn Matyas both of Michigan son John Kirchoff of Illinois brother James Barrett of Alabama and 7 grandchildren also survive. Memorial services for Bonnie Mae Barrett Roberts will be held in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home Sunday April 20th at 3:00pm. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00pm till 3:00pm.     Sunday 6 April 2008William Mack Holt 79 died Saturday April 5th in the emergency room of the Medical Center of Manchester following an extended illness. He was a resident of Manchester and a native of Cannon County. Survivors include; wife Frances Hayes Holt sons Jerry Holt of Florida Randy and Johnny Holt both of Bradyville 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for William Mack Holt will be at 3:00pm Tuesday April 8th in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Brother Charles Williams and Brother Herb Alsup will conduct the service. Burial in the Thyatira Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday from 3:00pm until 10:00pm at the funeral home. Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Friday 4 April 2008Arley Smith 76 died Friday April 4th. He was a resident of Woodbury and was a native of Cannon County. Survivors include his wife Lillian Melton Smith two sons Roger Smith and Kevin Smith 4 grandchildren also survive. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. Funeral services for Arley Smith will be Sunday April 6th at 2:00pm in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home. Brother Herb Alsup will conduct the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Survivors include; his wife Betty Moorehead mother Jean Harbottle of Kentucky step-mother Priscilla Moorehead of Kentucky children Terry Jr Shelia Brenda and Amanda all of Illinois step-children Mickle Joe Roy Allen Johnny Wade Joslen Renee & Dakota James all of Nashville brothers Mike of Pennsylvania Jim of Michigan and Bob of Missouri sisters Janet of Kentucky and Sally of Ohio. Funeral services for Terry Wayne Moorehead will be Tuesday April 1st at Noon in the chapel of the Woodbury Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin Monday after 10:00am.

Lane of Murfreesboro Marcia A. Bragg of Woodbury brother James Byars of Virginia four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Betty J. Lance will be Saturday at 1:00pm in the chapel of Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home. Tony Lawrence and Keith Young will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory. Morris of Watertown 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Ava Nell Hale will be Saturday at 1:00pm in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Brother Jim Hedgecoth and Brother L.B. Watts will conduct the service. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be after 2:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
