    Monday 14 April 2008James Maurice Barrett 75 died Saturday at Centennial Medical Center following a short illness. He was a resident of Readyville and a native of Bell Buckle. Survivors include; son James Michael Barrett of Brentwood daughter Kimberly Denise Woodard of Hartsville brothers Jerry Barrett of Woodbury Lindrell Barrett of Readyville 5 grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for James Maurice Barrett will be Wednesday at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Brother Herb Alsup will conduct the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday after 4:00pm. Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  • Zettie Phillips Parker

    Saturday 12 April 2008Zettie Phillips Parker 84 died Friday April 11th at Erlanger Hospital following an extended illness. She was a resident of Winchester and a native of Cannon County. Surivors include; daughter Carolyn Parker of Winchester sister Margret Young of Woodbury one grandchild and one great-grandchild also survives. Funeral services for Zettie Phillips Parker will be Monday April 14th at 1:00pm in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Bro. Charles Williams will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Coleman Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home. Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  • Jerry Wayne Hughes

    Friday 11 April 2008Jerry Wayne Hughes 62 of Milton died Thursday April 10th in Orlando Florida. He was a native of Cannon County and is survived by his wife Sherry Grizzle Hughes; daughters Terri Hollis of Woodbury and Cherrie Lynn Reed of Auburntown and a son Perry Hughes of Lascassas. He is also survived by his mother Oleta Hughes Thompson of Murfreesboro and brother Wade Hughes of Knoxville and a sister Laketa Schoen of Murfreesboro. Seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Hughes will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Carter Woodruff and Reverend Michael O’Bannon will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Milton Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

    Thursday 10 April 2008Dorothy Dean Keith 70 died Thursday at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. She was a resident of Smithville. Survivors include; daughter Vickie Buterbaugh of Leberty sons Robert Keith and David Keith both of Smithville 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Dorothy Dean Keith will be Saturday April 12th at 3:00pm in the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Brother Leonard Herman will conduct the service. Burial in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 11:00am until 9:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am until the time of the service. Survivors include; mother Debra Kay Grosch Brown of Manchester wife Lacy Grosch son Damien Chase Grosch both of Dunlap grandparents Frank and Kathryn Grosch of Manchester brothers Shawn Michael Hartman and Edward Blaine Hartman both of Illinois sister Holly Deanne Hartman of Illinois. Funeral services for James Michael Grosch will be Wednesday at 2:00pm in the chapel of Manchester Funeral Home. Reverand Sidney Parham will conduct the service. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Survivors include; his wife of 56 years Anna Jo Francis Gooch son Kenny Gooch of Woodbury; Daughter Karla Penny Judkins of Woodbury; 3 grandchildren also survive. sister Christine Pike of Murfreesboro and his half-brother Mark Nickens of Murfreesboro 3 grandchildren also survive. Survivors include his wife Lillian Melton Smith two sons Roger Smith and Kevin Smith 4 grandchildren also survive. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. Funeral services for Terry Wayne Moorehead will be Tuesday April 1st at Noon in the chapel of the Woodbury Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
