A property owner who rented the residence out to others, reported stolen household goods from the property recently. According to Cannon County Sheriff’s Department the owner reported that his grandson and his grandson’s wife was living at his rental property on Tate Lane. He stated that before they moved in, the house was furnished with a antique cabinet, rocking chair, refrigerator, washer and dryer, a bar, kitchen table with chairs, and a heater for the pub house. After his grandson’s wife moved out he noticed all the belongings had been taken without his permission. The owner contacted the woman and asked her to return the property. She refused to do so. The owner stated that his grandson was in Dekalb County Jail and was not at the residence at the time the items were moved.
