Two Cannon County 4-H Members scored college scholarships at the Tennessee 4-Roundup held at the University of Tennessee at Martin July 18th-22nd. Katlyn Currie of Readyville received the TFGA Mary B Cooper Scholarship. The $500 scholarship is based on Katlyn’s accomplishments, academic achievements and need. The Scholarship is provided in honor of Ms Cooper through the Tennessee Feed and Grain Association. Charles Steelman of Woodbury recieved the Hamilton Brown Scholarship also at the Tennessee 4-H Roundup. Charles received the $500 college scholarship based on his 4-H accomplishments, academic achievements and need. The scholarship is provided by friends and relatives in memory of Mary Frances Hamilton and Frank Brown, who were long time agents and administrators of UT Extension.
