Friday, November 6th / Saturday, November 7th

Woodbury Lions Club members will conduct the second weekend of their Coats for Cannon program at the Lions Club storage building, located next to the Lions club building, this Friday November 6th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and again on Saturday the 7th from 8:00 AM until noon. Children must be accompanied by an adult and live in Cannon County. The Lions Club will also have a limited number of gloves, socks and underwear that will also be available.

Tuesday, November 10th

The November meeting for the Mayor and Board of Alderman for the Town of Woodbury is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th. The meeting will begin at 7pm at Town Hall on Water Street.

Saturday, November 14th

Cannon County Veterans Day program will be held at Woodbury Grammar School at 11am.

Tuesday, November 17th

Cannon County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition’s BCRS class on Tuesday November 17th at 6pm at the Woodbury Lions Club Building. This month’s program will be a Question and Answer on MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) by Cindi Bush M.Ed. the Administrator for ACT Wellness Center.

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, which is effective in the treatment of opioid use disorders (OUD) and can help some people to sustain recovery.

Make plans to attend this presentation on November 17th at 6pm located at the Woodbury Lions Club Building, 634 Lehman St. Woodbury.
