Santa Claus is due to arrive on the Woodbury Square this Friday afternoon at 5:00 in a mule pulled wagon as one of the features of this weekend’s big event, the 26th Cannon County Country Christmas Merchants Open House. Participating merchants will be open from 9A-9P Friday and various hours on Saturday with discounts and door prizes to offer customers a chance to shop locally and save money with their Christmas shopping. Several antique dealers and gift shops will be participating in this event. Please check with the participating businesses on store hours on Saturday
Briar Rose Flowers and Gifts 115 North Cannon Street, , I’ll Be Back Antiques and Gifts located at 110 West High Street, and The Old Feed Store Antique Mall 310 West Water Street are amongst the gift stores and antique shops participating in this year’s open house. Santa will be at Ethan’s Custard and Chips at 6:30 for picture opportunties. Customers will need to provide their own way of taking pictures this year.
