A Cannon County woman who apparently left a three year old child she was babysitting unattended at her home while she allegedly went to a nearby convenience store and stole money out of a tip jar has been arrested on several charges. According to Cannon County Sheriff’s Department Reports, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a Bradyville Road residence. One of the residents in the house awoke that afternoon to discover a three year old child that had been left unattended in the home. The mother of the child stated that she left her child in the care of Manda Wagner while she went to work. Wagner was at home at the time the child was dropped off. However a little later, Wagner was involved in another incident that day at Parsley’s Market when she wanted to borrow $10 from someone at the Market. The person didn’t have the money so Wagner allegedly quickly took money out of a tip jar at the Market and ran off. Wagner was arrested last week on charges of child neglect and theft under $100.00. She will answer to the charges on October 4th in Cannon County General Sessions Court
