The Cannon County High School Basketball teams will start the district portion of the season in one of the toughest places in the conference, Baxter. The Upperman Lady Bees fresh off a season that saw them in the State Championship game are already 6-0 and haven’t been challenged this season. The Lionettes are 2-3 having lost to Red Boiling Springs in the Mitch Wilson Classic last Saturday. The Upperman Bees are 5-1 and opened fans eyes when they ran over Warren County during the Cannon Classic last weekend while the Lions are struggling with a 1-4 record but having played several big teams.
