The June 1st deadline is fast approaching for producers to submit their2011 Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program Applications.
Bruce Steelman UT Extension Office County Director urges all producers to
submit their application as soon as possible. In turn the Office will hand deliver
the applications in during the June 1st deadline so that producers
can be eligible for cost share consideration. Individuals willing to
participate in a livestock related program must have a valid beef quality
assurance certification at the time of the application. Those needing
certification can recieve them today (Thursday) in the basement of the
Cannon County Extension Office. The first session will be held at 10:00
AM with the second beginning tonight (Thursday) at 6:00 p.m. Eligibility requirements
include Applicant must be at least 18 years old, resident of Tennessee
operating a farm located in Tennesee, the ability and financial capacity
to complete the project. Certifications, permits and other priority
requirements as specified by program must be completed by the applicant.
No substitutions allowed. Applications are now at the Cannon County
Extension Office and Woodbury Farmers Coop or you can call the extension
office for more information.
