If you think you might be able to make a good pot of beans or your cornbread is mouthwatering to die for you might want to enter the first annual beans and cornbread festival to benefit the REACH afterschool program. The event is coordinated by the Friends of After School Kids and will take place Saturday November 16th at the Justin Pemberton Arena in Woodbury. There will be three categories of beans and three for cornbread. Each entry into the contest is $10. There will be live gospel and country music starting at 11 on the 16th.
