The Cannon County REACH program is still working hard on attaining theirtax exempt status. As a result of waiting for the program to be awarded
the tax exempt 501 c 3 status, they can not accept donation or grant
money. During a previous administration, the program’s tax exempt status
was registered under Child Protection Council. Current Director Linda
Bedwell has filed for tax exempt status under the correct Cannon County
Reach Program Name. However while waiting for the status to be restored,
Ms. Bedwell has to put the Horse Show scheduled for this Saturday at the
fairgrounds on hold. Ms. Bedwell assures that the Horse Show will still
take place however it will be rescheduled for a later date.
