The second of four consecutive district basketball contests for the Cannon County Lions and Lionettes is tonight at Robert A Harris Gymnasium. Both ball teams host the Macon County Tigers teams from Lafayette. Both girls basketball teams are struggling in the early season to pick up wins. The Lady Tigers have won two out of their last three but lost to Livingston by 19 Friday night. The Tigers boys team should be one of the top teams in the District. They are 6-1 overall with their last game a loss to Clay County Saturday night. The Lions have dropped two straight including a disappointing loss in overtime to Murfreesboro Central Magnet. Their record is now 3-4. The Lionettes hope that the return of Autumn King can help in securing their second win of the year.
