Local Cannon County Farmers and Gardeners have already begun selling the freshest local produce. The Cannon County Farmers Market opened over the Memorial Day weekend on Saturday and will continue to open on Saturdays during the growing season. The Farmer’s Market has a new home as it is no longer located at the Courthouse. The Cannon County Arts Center is the new home for the Farmer’s Market. Consumers can buy fresh fruits and vegetables this Saturday when the Farmer’s Market opens at 6:00 a.m.Some of the vendors have though about looking into what it would take to open on Wednesdays but nothing has been made official as of yet.
