Former Cannon County Reach Director Indicted On Forgery and Theft Of Property

Angela King, former director of the Cannon County REACH Afterschool program was arrested on a sealed indictment last Friday.  King was indicted by the Cannon County Grand Jury on one count of forgery and one count of theft of property.  She allegedly passed a counterfeit check at a local bank in Woodbury.  The charges are not in any way connected with her tenure as the REACH Director.    King posted $7500 bond and was released.  She has waived arraignment which was scheduled to take place in Cannon County Circuit Court Friday.  Plea Day is set for Friday March 9th
