Cannon County Sheriff’s Department took a report recently in reference to vandalism.
Mr. Bobby Hollis stated recently he went out to his truck and couldn’t get it to start. According to the Sheriff’s report, he noticed that the hood was popped open a little. As he investigated the area he found what appeared to be small pieces of wire that had been out on the ground. Mr. Hollis further checked and found that some wires had been cut under the truck near the gas tank and the fuel line in two places. Hollis also advised that all the gas was gone out of the tank which was approximately 8 gallons worth $30. Police are still investigating.
