An apparent hit and run resulted in vandalism charges being brought against a Cannon County man. According to Sheriff’s Department Reports, Deputies were dispatched to Simpson Road. The spoke with the victim David Young who stated that he was at his grandparents house helping feed the animals when allegedly Eric Reneer pulled up and hit David’s car with his truck while David was outside of it. After hitting the car, Reneer backed up, got out of his truck and started taking pictures of the hit car. Then Reneer jumped back into his truck and took off. Reneer is charged with destruction, damage and vandalism of property.
