A Bradyville man who allegedly got upset about a TV channel being changed has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault. According to Cannon County Sheriff’s Department reports, deputies were dispatched to a Frank Holt Road Residence. Upon arriving at the scene, they spoke with Mr. Terry Henderson. He stated that he had laid down to go to sleep with the TV on and his daughter changed the channel. He then went to change it back and his daughter Jessica Knowles commented about it and walked out the back of the residence slamming the door. That’s when Mr. Henderson went and got his shot gun and proceeded out the back door. Henderson was tackled and put in a headlock while Knowles obtained the shotgun. Deputies then arrested Henderson and charged him with aggravated assault. Henderson told deputies that he was going outside to shoot the dog and had no intentions of using the gun on anyone. Henderson will answer to the charge December 6th in Cannon County General Sessions Court.
