Over 100 people attended the 911 Emergency Response Expo Saturday at Dillon Park in Woodbury. The Expo featured several emergency response vehicles and fire trucks from the various fire departments in Cannon County. Around 10 Saturday morning, Vanderbilt’s Lifeflight Helicopter landed at the park. An Air Evac Lifeteam which is another emergency response air ambulance service was also scheduled to be at the Expo Saturday but due to an emergency call, they could not make the event. Officials were very happy for the turnout and may return with another Expo around June of next year.
