Cannon County High School Fall Sports continues tonight with two activities. On the schedule, the High School Girls Volleyball team travels to Lafayette to take on Macon County. The Lionettes Thursday dropped three straight sets to district opponent Smith County while the Junior Varsity was swept in two sets in Carthage. Macie Walker was effective on attacks and serving while Madelyn Hale scored five points serving for the Junior Varsity last Thursday. Tonight’s set of matches will start at 5:00. The Cannon County Girls Soccer team takes a road trip to Gainesboro to meet Jackson County in a non district game. The Lionettes Thursday were shut out by Dekalb County 8-0. It marked the second consecutive shutout by Dekalb. The game tonight against Jackson County will start at 6:00.
