If you are a high school basketball fan, there’s no better place to be tonight than at the Robert A Harris Gymnasium in Woodbury as Tonight it’s a battle of two of the state’s top basketball programs as the 3rd ranked Livingston Academy Lady Wildcats come to Woodbury to play the 6th ranked Cannon County Lionettes in a district war that plays implications on the top of the district standings. If Cannon wins, they will take over first place due to the fact that they beat Livingston at the start of 2013. If Livingston wins, they are in first place as they only have the one district loss on their record. Cannon won at Livingston 64-62. The Boys matchup is also important for the district race. If Livingston wins, they remain in second place. If Cannon can get the upset tonight in Woodbury, they will move up tied with Livingston for third place depending on how Upperman does this evening both teams could vie for second place.
