Man Caught With Drugs In Parking Lot

A Woodbury man was caught in a Murfreesboro Walmart Parking Lot with drugs over the weekend.  According to Murfreesboro Police Reports, Police made consensual contact with 28 year old Christopher Arnold of Williams Street in Woodbury in the parking lot of the South Rutherford Blvd. Walmart in reference to a drug investigation.  Mr. Arnold advised he was on probation and denied consent to search the vehicle he was in.  A drug K-9 from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene .  The K-9 alerted on the front driver side of the vehicle and a search of the vehicle was conducted.  A multi-colored bag was found on the driver side area containing a small amount of marijuana and a multi-colored glass pipe.  A small blue container with syringes, small baggies, clear glass pipes and a green container with a small straw and approximately .2 grams of methamphetamine.  A search of Mr. Arnold resulted in the finding of a mirror.  A field test kit of the mirror tested positive for meth. Arnold was arrested for Possession of Drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule II and schedule VI drugs.  He will answer to the charges January 12th in Rutherford County General Sessions Court.
