Man Vandalizes Sober Living Facility

A Cannon County man who reports stated was possibly intoxicated was arrested and charged with vandalism for damage he caused at a sober living facility.  According to Sheriff’s reports, Jerry Barrett met with the deputies and advised that Mr. Joshua Mark Stephens had left the residence in Barrett’s Jeep without consent, however upon his return he had become irate and acted aggressively causing damage to the property.  Mr Barrett stated that Mr. Stephens had broken numerous spindles, approximately 8 on the porch railings of the residence and also kicked his son’s truck causing a dent in the side of the cab,  Statements were gathered from several people and it was determined that Stephens had committed Vandalism.  He was arrested and charged with two counts of vandalism.  Stephens will answer to the charge October 4th in Cannon County General Sessions Court.
