Mary Jane Mathis, 66, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021at the home of her son. A native of Shepherdsville, KY., she lived in Woodbury.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (Angela) Mathis of Woodbury; mother, Betty Jane McAdoo of KY.; grandbabies, Aaron Brewer and Tequila Mathis both of Woodbury; great grandbabies, Levi, Everette, Avery and Cora Lawson and Aubree Brewer and siblings, Paul Bentley, Sr. of Woodbury, Melody Brown, Melinda Luttrell, Jenny Dennis, Paula Bentley, Kristy Bentley and Betty Ann McAdoo all of KY.
Ms. Mathis was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bentley and her siblings, Michael Bentley and Patricia Strong.
A member of the church of Christ, Mary was a retired seamstress with Colonial Corp and Val-Dor. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and taking care of children. Above everything else, she was a loving mother and grandmother.
Visitation with the family will be after 11 am Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Hale officiating.
