Tennesseans with pre-existing health conditions will soon get access to more affordable insurance options. Premiums for the Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plan will drop by more than 18-percent in Tennessee starting July 1st. The PCIP serves as a bridge to the federal health care law under which insurers will no longer be allowed to deny coverage to those with previous health conditions after 2014.
