Patricia Ann Wilson Reed

Patricia Ann Wilson Reed, 82, of Centertown passed away at her home Sunday, May 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Warren Co., the daughter of the late Richmond and Irene Wiseman Wilson.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Jewell Edward Wilson, Sr., Charles Ray Wilson, John Thomas Wilson, Larry Wilson and Freddie Martin Wilson; brothers-in-law, Billy Reed and Bob Hoover and sisters-in-law, Brenda Reed and Anita Reed.

Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband of 62 years, Curley P. Reed of Centertown; her children, Kathy (Carl) Prater of Coalmont, Lisa (Johnny) Lance of McMinnville and Curley Reed, Jr. of McMinnville; 5 grandchildren, Ben (Amanda) Prater of Murfreesboro, Brandon Prater of Coalmont, Blake (Marisa) Prater of Tracy City, Caleb (Lindsey) Lance of Morrison and Joshua (Esmeralda) Lance of Knoxville; 10 great grandchildren, Christopher and Colin Prater, Lucas and Emma Prater, Gabriel Fults, Micheal, Wynter and Willow Hickman, Emily and Luke Lance.  She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Sandy Wilson, Geneva Hoover, Brenda Reed Evans and Faye (James) Mears; brothers-in-law, Joe Reed, Terry (Pat) Reed, Jerry (Betty) Reed.

A devoted member of Unity Church of Christ, she was a homemaker.  She loved to travel and visited all 48 adjoining states and Canada.  She enjoyed going to the Smokey Mountains and visiting her favorite store, The Christmas Place, often bringing back ornaments for everyone.  She also enjoyed Rock Island, Fall Creek Falls and Smithville’s Fiddlers Jamboree.  Mrs. Reed loved to go to church and made strong bonds with her church family.  She was a wonderfully loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Her family will receive friends Wednesday, May 21, 2025 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Unity Church of Christ. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12 Noon with Bro. Johnny Lance and Bro. Joshua Lance officiating.  Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unity Cemetery.
