In the early hours of November 24, 2008, there was a home invasion at the residence of Auburntown Fire Chief Frank Patrick. Numerous items were stolen and Frank Patrick was knocked unconscious resulting in major surgery to repair his broken jaw. The friends and family of Frank Patrick are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved that committed this horrendous crime against a person that has helped a countless number of people.
