The Scarecrows on the Square contest is returning to the Woodbury Courthouse square this year in time for Halloween. The rules for the contest are as follows: Scarecrows are to be family oriented, no taller than 6 foot. The scarecrows will be hung on the lampposts around the square so no part of the exhibit can be sitting on the ground. There must be at least six entries for the contest to take place.
Scarecrows must be hung by the first week of October will be taken down November 1st.
Due to lack of storage space please make arrangements to have your scarecrow picked up by November 1st.
Entry fee is $5.00 per scarecrow and 1st place wins all the entry fees! Amount of prize money depends on how many entries are submitted.
