Shoplifting Candy Nets Cannon Man In Trouble For Drug Possession

A Cannon County man went to two grocery stores, did a little shoplifting at each and got caught not only with the small amount of groceries in his possession but also drugs.  
According to Woodbury Police Reports, police arrested Daniel M. Leavell after he allegedly shoplifted $27.45 worth of items from the Dollar General Market.  Then he allegedly had a fix for some candy in which he stole $4.28 worth at the Woodbury Save A Lot.  When Leavell was arrested police found marijuana and rolling papers on him.  Leavell was arrested and charged with two counts of theft under $500, simple possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

and Justin Lee Todd Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on revoked.
