The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is awarding $500 grants for riparian tree planting projects. The application deadline is November 30, 2013.
Grants are available to cities, schools, community organizations, civic groups, watershed organizations, conservation groups, and the like. A grantee must have a nonprofit tax number. All seedlings must be purchased through the Division of Forestry. Projects must be completed by June 30, 2014.
