Two persons were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two vehicle crash on McMinnville Highway.
According to reports from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a FedEx truck was turning left from St. Johns Hollow traveling West on Highway 70S. The vehicle pulled into the path of a Jeep Laredo. Vehicle one, the truck was driven by Deborah Necessary of LaVergne, vehicle two, the Jeep was driven by a Cannon County juvenile. Both vehicles were listed as a total loss.
Both drivers were injured and were taken to the Emergency Room of Stones River Hospital. They were treated and released.
Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Bruce Pryor was the investigating officer. He was assisted at the scene by members of the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department, Cannon County Ambulance Service, Cannon County Rescue Squad and Eastside Fire Department.
