The Upper Cumberland Development District is assisting local communities throughout the 14 county region as they apply for Community Development Block Grants. These federally funded projects provide services such as housing rehabilitation, emergency services, fire protection, and water and sewer line improvements. Over the next few weeks, telephone and in person interviews will be conducted to gather information necessary for the grant requirements.
