The Cannon County USDA Service Center is hosting the Feds, Farmers and Friend Feed Families Food Drive. USDA has a goal to donate 2 million pounds of food to children and families in need of food. The Cannon County FSA and NRCS offices request that if you are planning on visiting our office for any reason between now and August 31,2011 please donate non perishable items to our food drive.On September 1 2011 they will be donating all food collected to the Center Hill Baptist Church, a Second Harvest Food Bank partner. Center Hill Baptist Church in Smithville provides emergency food boxes for those needing assistance . All Cannon County Donations will be given to families in need in Cannon County
