Week number 2 of the review of budget requests from the various departments continues tonight as the Cannon County Budget Committee convenes. Last week the Committee reviewed the budgets for Chancery Court, General Sessions Court, Property Assessor, Ambulance Service, Register of Deeds, County Clerk’s Office. Judicial Courts and Judicial Commissioners budgets were also looked into. Tonight the Budget Committee will look into the proposed budgets of the County Trustee, Circuit Court Clerk, County Executive, County Buildings, Library and Veterans. The meeting takes place at the Cannon County Courthouse at 6:00 tonight
