The American Legion Post 279 announces this year’s Patriot Program will take place at the Cannon County High School. The program is an observance of remembering the events of September 11 2001. Much like the annual Veterans Day program, the students of Cannon County High School will help put together the program slated for Monday September 12. The theme is “Why We Remember This Day” Music will be provided by the Cannon County High School Band as well as special ceremonies and special guest speaker will be Brent Bush. Everyone is welcome to attend. The program is free and will start at 10:30 in the Cannon County High School gym.
