.AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE CENTER IS FORECAST TO PASS JUST NORTH OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE OVERNIGHT…BRINGING WITH IT A SURFACE COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE THROUGH THE MID STATE TONIGHT…AND AN OCCLUDED FRONTAL PASSAGE ACROSS EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE MID STATE
ON CHRISTMAS DAY. TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND ONE INCH ALONG AND EAST OF A DOVER TO PULASKI LINE…WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES ALONG THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU…WITH AMOUNTS APPROACHING UP TO 3 INCHES IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.
